Prospective Faculty

A group of CCV staff members

Every year, the Community College of Vermont employs nearly 500 part-time faculty to teach its courses at 12 locations statewide and online, and we are always looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable teachers.

Interested in Teaching at CCV?

CCV offers hundreds of courses in six different formats each semester, including online and face-to-face. With 12 centers across the state, there is bound to be one that’s close to you. Or you may choose to teach one of our distance education options, which includes asynchronous, synchronous, hybrid, self-paced, or hyflex.

CCV prepares faculty to teach distance education classes by requiring a 5-week, asynchronous course called Introduction to Online Teaching. Taught by fellow faculty members, this course covers the important pedagogical aspects of teaching an online course.

We regularly have faculty openings at our academic center locations and the Center for Online Learning. If you are interested in applying for a teaching job at CCV, visit our employment page.
